This piece is the second in a series of collated artworks that I created after the pandemic. I rarely throw anything away and realised that a couple of years of paint tubes made a wonderful composition. There is a Pop-Art element whereby I'm elevating the ordinary by repetition and adding a frame create a work of art. The first piece I made which was titled #totanirabé (Everything will be alright) became my response after months of being enclosed in the studio. I also like the connection this piece has to all the paintings I've made over the years. It is a very personal piece and holds many memories for me.
